Elijah Spiritoso

Elijah earned his Bachelors of Science in Finance from Temple University in Philadelphia and is also a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), a CHAE (Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive), and a CQPA (Certified QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor). He has 10 years’ experience as a Controller for hotels, restaurants, and caterers, which includes multi-entity and multi-state operators.  He worked at both the property level and the corporate offices, helping small business owners achieve their strategic and financial goals. He is a member of the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), PICPA (Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants), and ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners).

Elijah’s expertise includes financial statement preparation and analysis, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, inventory management including COGS and cost accounting, streamlining and redeveloping processes using automation, legal review including lease agreements and service contracts, forensic fraud investigations, and the development/implementation/monitoring of internal controls and SOP’s.

Elijah recently moved with his family to Oahu, Hawaii to enjoy the beauty of a tropical island Paradise. He enjoys all things outdoors including hiking, biking, and now of course surfing! He enjoys the beauty of the mountains, the ocean, the clouds, the sunsets, the sunrises, the stars and the easy-going lifestyle of a tropical island Paradise. The perfect complement to the long working hours of a demanding yet very satisfying job using screens to help small business clients achieve success, grow their businesses and understand the ins and outs of their back of the house accounting needs. If you ever vacation to Hawaii, you might just stumble upon Elijah working from the beach in a tent to protect his equipment from the sun, wind and salt water, with his portable battery pack, Wi-Fi hotspot, folding table, and double screen laptop setup. He is very grateful to all of his wonderful clients for affording him this great privileged lifestyle and also to Impact and Scott for bringing him on board and giving him the best job anyone could ask for.
